SmartTAP 360° Live “data at rest” refers to inactive data such as call records and media that is stored physically in a digital form. Media is stored and encrypted using application-level encryption as well as on disks or with storage encryption.

SmartTAP 360° Live “data in transit” refers to data flowing through the communications network between the various system elements. Such data is encrypted using secure protocols such as HTTPS and SRTP.
